Reporting to the Director Compensation, you will work in collaboration with the Compensation Advisors and Human Resources Business Partners to support them in the development, implementation and administration of Sobeys Base Pay Programs across the country.   
 

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Analyze the Sobeys salary structures and compensation practices, compare them to market trends and identify findings;    
  • Compile compensation data for submission to market surveys and conduct ad hoc surveys on salaries and human resource policies;
  • Participate in the implementation of the PayFactors market data management software. 
  • Produce reports and perform analysis on base salaries and cost analysis;
  • Participate in the administration of the base pay and recognition programs;
  • Support the Compensation Team and the Human Resources Business Partners in the administration of the annual salary increase process; 
  • Participate in maintenance of pay equity programs in Quebec and Ontario;
  • Contribute to the development of compensation processes, procedures and tools;
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data and compliance with Sobeys compensation guidelines;
  • Participate in ad-hoc compensation projects.

What you have to offer:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management or any other related training. 
  • You have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Human Resources, Compensation or Data Management.
  • You are proficient in Excel at an advanced level and have an additional advantage if you have used SuccessFactors or SAP HR.
  • You show initiative, autonomy and analytical skills. 
  • You enjoy working on a team and stand out for your effective communication skills in French, both verbally and in writing.
