Voila.ca is a new team dedicated to launching and scaling Sobeys new e-commerce grocery home delivery business. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up within a larger organization. Overview

Our E-Commerce division is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic marketing professional to lead the expansion of our National Voila Curbside Pickup program.  The technology platform that powers the program is the first of it's kind in North America and is already revolutionizing the industry. What you will get to do


Program Expansion

 

  • Launch and scale new Voila Curbside Pickup stores across the county
  • Responsible for on-time, on-budget execution

 

P&L Management

 

  • Responsible for delivering E-commerce In-store Fulfillment P&L, per budget
  • Responsible for managing Voila Curbside Pickup Performance, including all financial, operational, and customer metrics
  • Evaluation of program performance to identify areas of opportunity and risk
  • Drive strategy and tactics with key stakeholders
  • Ongoing executive stakeholder management 
  • Continuous improvement activities
  • Product roadmap/backlog and new features/enhancements
  • Responsible for managing IGA and Thrifty Foods Curbside Pickup and Online Entertaining performance, including all financial, operational, and customer metrics
  • Evaluation of program performance to identify areas of opportunity and risk
  • Drive strategy and tactics with key stakeholders
  • Ongoing executive stakeholder management 
  • Continuous improvement activities
  • Product roadmap/backlog and new features/enhancements

What you bring to the table

 

 

  • Minimum of 10 years experience working in E-commerce or Retail 
  • Experience developing and launching new programs
  • Experience building and leading high performing teams
  • Strategic thinking with deep understanding of e-commerce and retail industry
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of managing major projects on time and on budget 
  • Proven track record of customer centricity driving deep engagement and retention
  • Bachelors Degree or a combination of relevant work experience
