Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opportunity for a full time Senior Financial Analyst, eCommerce to join our finance department based out of our office location in Mississauga or Toronto.

You will be responsible for all finance activities for the Voila e-commerce program, including finance business partnering, FP&A and capital management.

 

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR A 1-YEAR TERM, STARTING IN APRIL 2025.
 

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

•    Serve as finance business partner for the Voila supply chain, operations, and FP&A, providing complex financial analysis and business decision support (provide analysis, guidance, and recommendations for new business activities and impacts)
•    Manage and oversee all FP&A activities and budgeting, dynamic forecasting, and planning processes for the total Voila banner
•    Manage and oversee all expenses, monthly accruals, WBRs, modeling, accuracy of reporting, forecasting, budgeting, P&L performance and ad-hoc analytics
•    Lead monthly finance meetings with Senior Voila Leadership and business partners to identify financial risks and cost opportunities
•    Develop strategic financial models and business case documents to support expansion and new initiatives
•    Build timely and accurate period analytical reports from SAP for end-to-end EBIT reporting for distribution to the Senior Leadership Team and Finance partners with value-add analysis
•    Capital expenditure management for Voila Capital Projects
•    Continuous improvement with processes and reporting
•    Work closely with functional teams to set standards in financial reporting risk controls
•    Work with Corporate FP&A as required on budgets/forecast and consolidation
 

What you have to offer:

•    A minimum of 5 years related work experience
•    University degree and/or Professional designation or working towards one (CA, CGA, CMA, CFA)
•    Financial modelling skills
•    Working knowledge of SAP, BW systems, strong asset
•    Experience building executive materials
•    Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
•    Excellent communication skills (both Oral and Written)
•    Able to work in a team environment
•    Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Ability to use multiple computerized systems to compile useful information
•    Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of audiences and levels of management
•    Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, and under limited supervision
•    Ability to successfully manage several tasks at one time
