Ready to Make an impact?

As a bilingual copywriter, you will develop engaging, localized content for a variety of channels, including web, app, email, and print, while ensuring cultural relevance through trans-creation. You will collaborate closely with the creative team, offering language expertise and contributing to net new creative projects.

Additionally, you will support the social media coordinator by maintaining bilingual consistency across platforms and engaging with the community. Your role will also involve contributing to campaign ideation, content planning, and building influencer partnerships to drive brand engagement and innovation.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Develop compelling copy for a variety of channels (website, app, email, radio, blog, direct mail, print) in both English and French, ensuring cultural relevance and maintaining the Voilà brand voice across languages.
  • Support the creative team by contributing to the development of net new creative assets, offering fresh perspectives and language expertise for campaigns
  • Provide bilingual support across all platforms and initiatives, ensuring both languages are consistently represented with high-quality, localized messaging.
  • Create and manage Voilà par IGA social calendars to strategically plan messaging, aligning with broader marketing goals
  • Collaborate with the social media coordinator to ensure bilingual, consistent messaging on social platforms. Assist in monitoring and engaging with online conversations where necessary.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for larger campaigns, leveraging deep audience understanding and bilingual skills to enrich creative concepts.
  • Work closely with the internal team to prioritize, schedule, and manage content across all channels. Publish bilingual content (copy, photos, videos) as needed to enhance brand visibility.
  • Support the brand’s relationship-building efforts with influencers and creative partners, contributing to innovative ways to drive brand engagement and press coverage.

What you have to offer:

  • Exceptional bilingual (English and French) creative writing skills, with a natural flair for storytelling and trans-creating content for various platforms.
  • A sharp eye for both creative and design, balancing copywriting with content creation and community management.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to adapt and do what it takes to deliver quality work.
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms, with the ability to stay ahead of user trends and adapt content accordingly.
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Percolate, Hootsuite), ensuring seamless content planning and execution to support our in-house social media coordinator.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to extract actionable insights from social listening and analytics to refine copy and strategy.
  •  Able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple bilingual content projects with efficiency.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a copywriting role, with a focus on bilingual content and community engagement.
