Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Supplier Funding Strategy & Execution Lead the development and execution of the annual Scene+ supplier funding budget across all English Canada and Quebec banners and regions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish funding targets and support Loyalty Managers in crafting banner-specific budgets. Drive supplier engagement strategies and negotiate impactful funding agreements that monetize the program and support strategic investments.
- Financial Oversight & Reconciliation Ensure financial accuracy and accountability by overseeing supplier contract inputs, payment approvals, and reconciliation processes. Partner with Finance and Sourcing teams to manage year-end revenue recognition and resolve billing discrepancies. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining financial integrity and optimizing supplier contributions.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting Deliver insightful leadership updates and strategic guidance to Merchandising leads and Loyalty Managers. Lead the deployment and continuous enhancement of supplier issuance reporting, fostering deeper engagement and transparency. Collaborate with leadership to identify new opportunities and drive program success through data-driven decision-making.
- Customer-Facing Program Development Innovate and lead the creation of direct-to-customer product offers for My Grocery Offers / Mes Offres IGA. Optimize offer deployment processes in partnership with Marketing Technology. Your vision will shape multi-channel communications, elevate customer loyalty experiences and drive incremental sales.
- Employee Loyalty Engagement Own the Teammate Exclusives program – its annual plan and budget and multi-channel communications providing employees with much-valued bonus Scene+ points, free products and more. Drive employee sign-ups, participation and overall loyalty program engagement.

What you have to offer:
- 7+ years experience in loyalty, merchandising or related
- Strong project management and relationship building skills
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Ability to manage relationships & negotiations with cross functional teams and supplier partners
- Ability to effectively manage marketing activities, incl. identifying opportunities and influence others, internal and external to organization, incl. loyalty marketing managers, category merchants
- Ability to gather insights from Tableau dashboards (familiarity with Tableau)
- Familiarity with SAP and related information management systems
- Fluent in MS Office
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Experience in confidently presenting to senior leadership
- Retail grocery experience an asset
- Strong understanding of supplier billing systems and processes an asset
- Knowledge of merchandising tools and processes an asset
- Bilingual French (an asset)
