The Senior Financial Analyst, IT & Backstage Finance is responsible for supporting the reporting, forecasting, budgeting and consolidation process for our IT and Backstage functions.
This role is responsible for creating, maintaining and enhancing complex budget and forecast financial models to support the CTAO and Backstage Leadership teams.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
• Serve as finance business partner for assigned area of responsibility (support CTAO forecasting, budgeting and consolidation processes).
• Construct financial data on overall results in a multitude of different views for reporting and decision-making purposes
• Assist CTAO with determining which areas require attention and where efforts should be focused for performance improvement and forecast accuracy.
• Compile and analyze SG&A elements to develop an understanding of trends, targets, and areas of improvements.
• Prepare Financial Presentations by determining presentation criteria, gathering presentation data, analyzing financial data and creating presentation templates (e.g. charts; graphs).
• Evaluate and troubleshoots existing models and templates to enable new functionality and optimize execution.
• Extensive systems knowledge in operational and financial systems (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Develop and manage various reports using various software platforms including but not limited to SAP and BW.
• Continually seek out process improvements and creative problem solving in driving solutions, innovation and other initiatives.
• Monitor, track and model business cases, as required.
• Assist in capital planning, forecasting and analytics, as required.
• Provide project support, as required.
• Assist with other FP&A ad-hoc requests
What you have to offer:
• An Undergraduate Degree with quantitative/business focus and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Completion or working towards CPA / MBA / MMA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Accuracy of financial analysis, processes and reporting.
• Experience providing high quality analytics and commentary while working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Working knowledge of data transformation and preparation of end user reporting needs.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage several tasks at any given time.
