Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst, IT and EPMO is responsible for standard reporting and ad hoc analysis of past and present financial and KPI information. The Analyst will support their respective business partners and the finance team in interpreting the trends and variances in key reporting to support decisions in order to improve financial performance and long term sustainability of the organization. 

•Ensuring business partners have relevant, reliable and timely financial information including Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and appropriate variance analysis.
•Providing timely responses to queries and follow up on issues 
•Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as assigned. 
•Provide the EPMO project teams with relevant information pertinent to Project Reporting including budgeting and forecasting of spend
•Work closely with the EPMO team and Business Finance Leads to understand project costs and benefits
•Business support reporting will include such items as:
oCapital related KPI reporting (actual, forecast and budget)
oOperational Expense analysis (actual, forecast and budget) 
oLabour related analysis (project based, overtime / on-call, etc.)  
oProvide support to team members for invoice processing and PO creation 

Job Requirements

•A minimum of 5 years related work experience
•University degree in Business and/ or diploma
•Professional designation or working towards CPA
•Finance experience in the Retail Industry 
•Proficient in the use of Longview, SAP, SAPBW, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Access)
