In this exciting role, you will be improving Sobeys automation, CI/CD workflow orchestration maturity, capabilities, and practices. This includes supporting the DevOps CoE’s ownership of secure CI/CD, DevOps and automation practices as implemented within Azure DevOps all while ensuring documentation is up to date and correct before solution or changes are implemented into production

Job Description


What you have to offer:

  • Experience managing projects and CI/CD build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience and understanding of cloud architecture and services specifically in Microsoft Azure.
  • Related university degree or equivalent work experience
  • Azure Certifications (e.g. AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) would be a significant asset
  • Knowledge of and experience with:
    • CI/CD build and deployment technologies. 
    • Configuration and version management disciplines and Git.
    • Multi-Stage YAML pipeline deployments
    • Scripting (PowerShell, bash, Python, Perl, Ansible).
    • Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Terraform templates.
  • Working experience and knowledge in:
    • Working as part of a team, using an agile or lean methodology, to continuously deliver secure and working software.
    • Developing guidelines and practices for other developers to integrate and deploy their software.
    • .NET development.
    • Database technologies.
    • Containers and Container Orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Orchestration and Automation Platform products (e.g. Airflow, Jenkins).
  • Considered an asset:
    • Experience or certifications with Secure SDLC practices
    • Multiple application security technologies and their integration into Azure DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
    • Security scanning and compliance; DAST and SAST tools, techniques and technologies.
    • Threat modelling and security design review methodologies. 
    • Experience with other public clouds e.g. Google Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud Platform/Foundry
