Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for a 28 month term Process Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team based out of Stellarton, NS

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

•    Support projects through data analysis to understand root cause of process performance/opportunities
•    Lead functional projects designed to implement desktop solutions
•    Drive insights from large volumes of data
•    Evaluate, plan, and implement improvements using continuous improvement practices to address business processes and underlying technology
•    Support continuous improvement projects
•    Lead small improvement initiatives
•    Drive collaboration with project team members, IT and functional stakeholders

What you have to offer:

•    2+ years relevant experience in Process, IT and/or Finance
•    Post Secondary Education in relevant field: (Business, Technology, Finance, Accounting, Engineering)
•    Finance/IT experience in the grocery retail sector preferred 
•    Strong Excel skills with knowledge of VBA
•    Working knowledge of SAP
•    Demonstrated experience working in project teams or collaboratively with teammates 
•    Experience with CI methodologies preferred 
•    Strong analytical, oral communication, and information presentation skills
