We are seeking a Coordinator to support the Manager, Sobey Family Philanthropies in executing philanthropic initiatives, assisting with event coordination and the maintenance of corporate archives.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
General Administrative Support:
- Oversee calendars, coordinate and schedule meetings, handle correspondence, maintain confidential files, and process departmental invoices.
- Assist with event planning and logistics, including vendor coordination, scheduling, and on-site support.
- Respond to inquiries about Crombie House events and tours.
- Collaborate with websites designer to ensure content is current.
Philanthropic Support:
- Assist with research and process support for major philanthropic gifts and initiatives.
- Assist in preparation and distribution of materials for quarterly Board meetings.
- Maintain and update the gifts database and provide ongoing support for key foundations.
Corporate Archives Support:
- Respond to requests for archival resources and assist in the intake and organization of corporate materials.
What you have to offer:
- 3-5 years of experience in philanthropy, corporate communications, or public relations.
- Familiarity with corporate archives practices and event planning.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
