Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a 1-year contract opportunity for a Clerk Assortment Listings to join our Merchandising team.

The Clerk Assortment is responsible for accurately processing product delisting requests within our ERP system. This role ensures the timely and compliant removal of products from the inventory, sales, and merchandising working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date product data and support retail operations.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

Product Data Entry Clerk

  • Prepare source data from Category Management and other teams for input into systems as required
  • Execute product delisting procedures within the SAP Retail system according to company policies and retail standards
  • Update and maintain accurate product master data to reflect delisted items
  • Coordinate with merchandising, replenishment, pricing and promotions teams to validate and authorize delisting requests
  • Monitor and track the delisting process in SAP to ensure timely execution and compliance
  • Generate reports and maintain records of delisted products for audit and operational purposes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on delisting activities and status
  • Maintain customer confidence and keep information confidential
  • Create and maintain all product attributes and ensure their adherence to Service Level Agreements
  • Accurately enter information into various systems as required
  • Follow policies and procedures related to data maintenance and report where changes are needed

Vendor/ Site/ Customer Data Entry Clerk

  • Maintain Customer confidence and keep information confidential
  • Create and maintain all vendor master attributes adhering to Service Level Agreements
  • Follow defined policies and procedures to protect against banking fraud
  • Create and maintain all site/customer master information
  • Accurately enter information into various systems as required
  • Monitor errors and report problems with data
  • Follow policies and procedures related to data maintenance and report where changes are needed
     

What you have to offer:

  • College diploma and a minimum of 1-year relevant experience
  • Retail store and/or wholesale experience preferred
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or experience with retail data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
