We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Accounting Clerk on our Retail Support team based out of our office in Stellarton, NS.
 

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Process all customer payments in a timely and efficient manner 
  • Post daily deposits from customer accounts
  • Post weekly payments
  • Process sales representative collections
  • Process sales and payments 
  • Post miscellaneous charges to customer accounts
  • Post month end billings
  • Transmit daily EFT files to bank and post payments to customer accounts
  • Post and clear donation accounts
  • Positive relationships with credit and retail teams
  • Ensure risks associated with AR are minimized through adherence to effective policies and procedures
     

What you have to offer:

  • Post secondary education in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  •  Accounts Receivable experience preferred
  • Experience with EFT preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
  • Ability to provide a high level of Customer service 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
