We currently have an opening for a Clerk Accounting, Accounts Payable Team Member . As the successful candidate, you excel in a deadline driven environment, have excellent organizational skills, and are continuously searching for new and better ways of doing things. You are customer focused and very professional. Additionally, you enjoy metrics and strive to continuously exceed expectations and standards.

 

Your primary responsibility will involve processing invoices and credits, clearing and reconciling accounts, managing discrepancies and communicating with internal departments as well as our suppliers.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Processing uploads and clearing PAD accounts
  • Reconciling vendor and customer accounts
  • Processing payments and credits to our tobacco suppliers
  • Resolving issues of discrepancies
  • Preparing Working Papers and other period end tasks
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Communicating with various departments internally

What you have to offer:

  • College diploma/University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven time management, organization and multitasking skills
  • Customer focused and committed to exceeding service levels
  • Aptitude for understanding new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of SAP (preferred)
