Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for passionate new talent to join our team! We are currently looking for a Analyst Assortment. This is a hybrid role and there is an in-office requirement of 3 days a week.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Work constructively with Project Teams to provide guidance on Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data areas
- Participate in project process reviews and requirements gathering to ensure master data impacts are captured
- Assess Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data work required to support projects and ad hoc business requests.
- Provide effort estimate recommendations to Manager.
- Review project decision impacts and recommendations with Manager and Director
- Provide detailed knowledge of Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data to project team
- Build rapport with project team and customer
- Communicate with project team, customer and manager as required
- Ensure on-time delivery of accountabilities within a project
- Provide Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data support to technical team
- Lead Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data assignments and initiatives within project on behalf of Assortment Projects team
- Review Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data deliveries within project to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Attend project meeting on behalf of Assortment Projects team and represent team interests.
- Develop best practice recommendations for the capture and management of Article, Site, Customer, and Vendor master data, including the execution of any new processes or tools.
What you have to offer:
- Experience with retail master data or retail store and/or wholesale experience
- Database management experience and report writing
- Troubleshooting experience
- Experience with continuous or process improvement
- Knowledge of SAP and/or experience with retail data
- Must be able to escalate issues to managers when required
- Must be able to effectively articulate data teams position within project
- Proficient with Excel
