Job Description

  • Validate, analyze, synthesize and interpret customer data to identify findings and trends for informed decision making;
  • Develop and execute quantitative customer analysis models to increase consumer understanding and measure the effectiveness of marketing investments;
  • Collaborate with the loyalty team on internal personalization campaigns;
  • Collaborate with key departments within the company including marketing, finance and operations to determine analytical needs and assist in day-to-day decision making by sharing knowledge and information;
  • Produce ad hoc analyses and support existing analysts in finding solutions to internal customer requests;
  • Oversee data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of analytical reports used in critical decision making;
  • Develop reports illustrating key indicators and sales trends to support the effective use of this information by key stakeholders in decision making;
  • Collaborate with the marketing department and all other key business departments to determine analytical needs;
  • Work closely with the Customer Business Insight teams in National and Quebec to consolidate key findings and provide concrete recommendations to guide strategic and tactical decision-making.
     

Job Requirements

  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a position with similar responsibilities;
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, business intelligence or any other relevant field (a Master's degree is an asset);
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations and popularizing complex concepts and analyses to different audiences;
  • Have a very good knowledge of SAS and/or SQL tools;
  • Advanced experience in data warehouse mining and predictive modeling;
  • Mastery of existing database tools and strong analytical skills (use and development of statistical concepts and models);
  • Have good communication skills (French & English; spoken and written).
