Overview

 

At Sobeys we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Agent equipment invoicing looking to join our team based in our office in Montreal, Quebec.

Job Description

 

  • Code the invoicing to be transmitted to accounts payable and to the fixed assets team;
  • Prepare merchant re-invoicing files to be sent to accounts payable;
  • Manage the invoicing of IT contracts as well as telecommunications, and Symbol (charges and credits to merchants and internally);
  • Respond to inquiries regarding billing from merchants, suppliers and internal or external customers;
  • Issue quotes to merchants for major projects and monitor receipt of signatures
  • Process the billing of purchase orders created by the IMAC team;
  • Perform research and resolve supplier and merchant billing issues;
  • Follow up on monthly inventory reports;
  • Process and code invoices, send emails to managers for approval;
  • May be called upon to work overtime;
  • Other related tasks.

Job Requirements

 

  • DEC in accounting combined with 1 year of relevant experience (Any combination of study and relevant recent experience deemed equivalent will be considered);
  • Good knowledge of computer equipment, considered an asset;
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, initiative and dynamism;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Written French language, intermediate level;
  • Written English language, intermediate level. The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada. 40% of the time the teammate will have to use a language other than French.
  • Excel, intermediate level;
