Job Description


As a Tech Lead with Sobeys, you will:


  • Lead a multi-skilled team in charge of a portfolio of eDAM / PIM related products through its entire lifecycle.
  • Working with the eDAM / PIM Product Manager to articulate the business value to the Product Team to understand the intent behind the new product or product release.
  • Work with Business Partners to lead the development and ongoing refinement of the overall Product Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Ensure the backlog management is always current, accurately prioritized and categorized. 
  • Ensure the solution in build and configured to meet the business objectives and delivers the intended value.
  • Ensure the overall solution / service design meets the business objectives and expectations and is aligned with all organization and industry standards.
  • Work with Developers and Testers to ensure compliance to the organizational quality standard for new or enhanced products or services throughout the delivery lifecycle.  
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders in end-to-end service delivery lifecycle. Ensure the appropriate sign-offs are obtained at the correct stage (e.g., Architecture, IT security, Infrastructure and Product teams etc.), appropriate operational and support requirements are maintained.

Job Requirements


Your experience and resume will show us:


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant experience in Technology
  • 5+ years progressive experience in IT
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience leading large-scale projects through design, build and implementation
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management and Product Information Management Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure API Management / Mulesoft (Integration Management)
  • Experience managing a backlog
  • Experience maintaining / supporting products through entire lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of a product lifecycle
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Agile or Scrum certification preferred
