The purpose of this position, is to work in collaboration all functional business areas to build engagement, awareness, and visibility to Program milestones and outcomes.

Job Description

Create distinct work-back schedules for:  

o    Execution of key priorities and milestones;
o    Communications plan for supplier partners, internal engagement

•    Lead Strategic Sourcing and Merchandising Teams in advancing identified program priorities
•    Identify, establish and manage Working Groups and respective key milestones and deliverables based on program recommendations and key priorities
•    Partner closely with internal stakeholders to leverage Supplier Diversity integration points with key business areas
•    Partner closely with DE&I, Procurement, L&D and Communications teams to create and implement supporting tools and resources to advance Supplier Diversity capability,
     learning  and development, education and awareness  
•    Be the key point of contact with external Supplier Diversity partner organizations and corporate stakeholders to leverage opportunities for learning and development,
     corporate partnerships, and pathways to diverse supplier engagement.
•    Identify and communicate to Supplier Diversity executives any gaps and risks for review and action
•    Prepare regular reports for management with recommendations where appropriate


Job Requirements


Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Grocery Retail or other Retail industry
•    Experience in internal and external stakeholder development and management 
•    Experience in managing cross functional teams and Project Management process
•    Knowledge of procurement processes and ability to identify opportunities to engage new diverse owned supplier partners
•    Experience in evaluating and executing programs and  processes to build Procurement and Merchandising team capability
•    Familiarity with Data management, interpretation and communication of results across multiple stakeholders
•    Previous experience working in Grocery Retail or Retail Industry preferred
•    Previous experience working with diverse communities, diverse-owned and certified or-self-identified businesses an asset
