Overview

 

Reporting to the Manager Transportation Strategy & Innovation, the Analyst Fleet Services is responsible for supporting project execution and post audit. The candidate will own 
the project management for projects assigned by the manger. The role will be also heavily responsible for deep analysis on the project initiation and results.

Job Description

The role will apply the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to 
meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations from each project.  

A snap of some of the exciting things the candidate will lead and do: 

 

Accountability Part 1 – Deep data analysis 


•    Execute projects from transportation roadmap (both technology and process) 
•    Analyze to streamline processes and improve efficiency
•    Prepare data in business case for formulating projects
•    Work closely with Warehouse, Sourcing and Finance on evaluating cost/benefit, ROI and 
      NPVs for projects.
•    Work closely with RSC leads on project pilot (incl. technology and process),
      implementation and post audit (required) 
•    Support training team on incorporating KPIs from technology and findings from

Accountability Part 2 - Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of projects:


•    Manage end to end project plus post audit
•    Develop project schedules, resource plans, cost estimates and milestones
•    Assess project risks including the determination and execution of risk mitigation strategies 
•    Assure project deliverables are of high quality 
•    Manage, monitor, and report project progress including schedule, functionality, quality, and cost (comparisons to budgets and forecasts).  
•    Manage and troubleshoot project issues 
•    Solve and/or facilitate solutions to technical, functional, process, and business problems 
•    Coordinate Team activities between various Business and Supply Chain resources 
•    Coordinate efforts between all project members and other project dependencies
•    Provide feedback on project staff 
•    Coordinate resources as required with the project team and applicable Managers
 

Job Requirements

 


•    An undergraduate degree in Engineer or Business
•    PMP designation or enrollment in PMP is recommended 
•    3 years plus experience in retail logistics (a combination of warehouse and transportation)
•    Advanced skill sets in SAP, EXE, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Alteryx, Tableau and other platforms
•    Experience in large scale transportation projects/RFPs
•    Experience in developing and delivering project presentations / reports, and identifying and evaluating alternatives
•    Advanced analytics skills
•    A People person with excellent communication skills
