Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities that we are always looking for bright talent! We currently have an opportunity for an Analyst National Transportation Specialist. Be apart of our team that will build and grow our National Managed Inbound Freight program. This position is based out of our office in Mississauga Ontario.

As a member of our National Transportation team with responsibility for the daily operations for fleet technology strategy and roadmap processes. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, developing relationships and partnering with peers, managers and Directors across the company to deliver goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Daily Operations for tractor and trailer processes which relate to spec design, fleet size, VRS, OEMs, asset disposals and procurement.
- Daily Operations for tractor and trailer repair and maintenance processes which relate to Samsara, Mirlin, as well explore potential new technology that can drive significant benefits for Sobeys.
- Act as the subject matter experts for the Samsara and Mirlin Centre of Excellence program
- Act as the subject matter experts for the national fleet safety program that includes a policy this is compliant in all provinces and addresses driver behavior challenges / safety gamification.What you have to offer:

- Minimum 5 years progressive management experience in Fleet Management and Transportation.
- Excellent knowledge of Federal and Provincial Regulations for Commercial Vehicles and Drivers. Safety and compliance experience related to the Transportation Industry.
- Experience using current logistics technology as it applies to Fleet Management
- Fleet Equipment Knowledge
- Knowledge of Fleet NSC Legislation
- Experienced with detailed financial management experience specifically P&L
