We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Integrator and Developer Specialist to join our Digital Customer Engagement team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and optimizing marketing templates, integrating assets, and executing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of digital marketing initiatives, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and campaign effectiveness.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Lead the setup of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications) using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Analytics teams to define campaign requirements, implement 1:1 personalization strategies, and optimize communications.

Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring:

  • Conduct thorough QA testing to validate email rendering, dynamic content, and subscriber segmentation.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze and interpret results, and optimize content strategies to improve engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, addressing issues related to campaign setup, data synchronization, and API integrations.
  • Collaborate with IT and technical teams to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure platform stability.

Documentation and Process Improvement:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of templates, workflows, and integration processes within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation efficiencies, and best practices adoption to optimize campaign execution and performance.

What you have to offer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Audience Builder.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript for implementing complex email and web solutions.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, data architecture, and integration principles.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Journey Builder Consultant) are a plus.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and French.The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the expansion, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada
