Overview

The Marketing Specialist, Media will assist in Media and Social Media strategy and execution across banners. They will act as a subject matter expert on social media platforms and work with a cross functional team of internal and external/agency partners to help lead and bring strategy to life to drive engagement with the consumer.

Job Description

  • Lead the development and execution of social media and influencer strategies for multiple banners nationally optimized to different brand identities and target audiences
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Creative Studio, Content Services, Sponsorship, Community Investment and external agency partners to bring social strategies and business priorities to life via monthly social calendars
  • Lead the integration of enterprise-wide campaigns and key strategic priorities into owned social content and calendars
  • Act as subject matter expert on social media and influencer platforms and best practices for cross-functional business partners
  • Manage social media promotion budget, working closely with agency partners to amplify social content, report on results, and optimize based on key learnings
  • Identify annual social media KPIs and work closely with external and internal partners to achieve and optimize based on results
  • Work closely with external partners to conduct monthly reporting and analysis; identifying trends and sharing recommendations for optimization with cross-functional partners
  • Champion Social Community Management within the business, acting as a key liaison between Customer Care teams and external agency partners to integrate Community Management efforts
  • Work closely with Media Agency to develop media plans to support campaigns across the business from start to finish

 

Job Requirements

  • An Undergraduate Degree
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in retail, advertising, marketing, or merchandising environment
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media & omni-channel media marketing
  • Proficient in social media platforms
  • Passion for food
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset
  • Travel 10%-15%
