Overview

The Gift Card Specialist will manage day to day work and assist the work with a cross functional team of internal and external partners to help run the gift card business smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description

  • Manage launch of gift card new creatives, create article numbers, work with pricing team etc.
  • Work closely with Customer Insights and external partners on developing reports for analysis; identifying trends and recommendations for improvements
  • Manage and keep logs current for all businesses.
  • Work closely with Category managers to ensure inventory requirements are met on time.
  • Manage gift card printing cycles; data testing, PO# creation, shipping schedules & approvals.
  • Manage Client Line Access log and IVR updates.
  • Develop store communications for gift card programs.
  • Assist with management of vendor partner programs
  • Develop and manage promotional and marketing plan project work streams including marketing briefs, project management and follow-ups, creative proof approvals and budget reconciliation
  • Support in development of marketing material for marketing campaigns, external gift card channel partners and B2B customers. Provide support for various individual promotional offers.
  • Support merchandising, store, warehouse and replenishment teams and provide inventory, article and product information.
  • Keep current Customer Service Handbook. Own all customer service and vendor inquiries and issue resolution relating to corporate Gift cards.
  • Manage gift card pages on Sobeys Inc. websites and update information when required.
  • Own and Manage all invoicing & payments for gift cards, support distribution and follow-up of invoices for promo cards.

 

Job Requirements

  • An Undergraduate Degree or diploma
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communications skills
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset
  • Store experience an asset
