In this fast paced role as the Sobeys Specialist, Contract Management, you will provide insight to the broader Strategic Sourcing team and Business Units on contract status, risk, and expiry. Working with our functional leaders this role will draft and negotiate terms, SoW, and SLA's. We are looking for a teammate who can engage and collaborate with Suppliers on contract revisions with support from colleagues in Legal and Finance.
While we are recruiting from multiple provinces, this role will reside in our Tahoe office in Mississauga, Ontario.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
· Support contract management process across all lines of business.
· Manage contract intake process and prioritize contract sequencing.
· Collaborate with Legal in developing contract templates for all business functions.
· Develop a mechanism to efficiently safeguard templates and all related documentation.
· Develop and maintain contract terms database based on existing and new contracts and ensure better visibility is brought to contract terms, including scope, risk, spend etc.
· Develop monthly reporting to monitor and flag contract terminations to Strategic Sourcing Managers and the business.
· Develop best practices for contract KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLA’S) to ensure proper tracking and alignment with Contract language.
· Review RFP documentation to ensure it meets our internal Legal requirements and provide feedback to Strategic Sourcing team and the business on appropriate template use for RFx and contract.
· Collaborate with Legal on contract reviews and align on final.
What you have to offer:

· Ability to apply a creative approach toward issue resolution
· Undergraduate Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in contract management experience
· Experience in contract drafting, and online integration of Ariba
· Preference for bilingual proficiency (English and French)
