Sobeys has an exciting permanent opportunity available as a Senior Financial Analyst - Marketing, Loyalty Program Support within the National Finance department. This role is based out of our office in Mississauga, Ontario.

Job Description


As a Senior Financial Analyst - Marketing, Loyalty Program Support with Sobeys you will:

  • Provide complex financial analysis and modelling using large datasets and provide business decision support to the Marketing teams, having responsibility for Loyalty Program reporting on a consolidated basis and banner level basis for actual results, budgeting, forecasting and related reporting and analysis.
  • Provide modelling of actual, forecast and budgeting implications of Loyalty Program Business Plans.
  • Create and monitor weekly, and periodic Loyalty Program Reporting and work to resolve issues requiring resolution to ensure the accuracy of Management reporting.
  • Compile and analyze Loyalty Program sales and cost elements in order to identify and develop an understanding of trends, targets, and areas of improvement nationally, and/or by Business Unit with value-add analysis.
  • Responsible for ongoing gap and opportunity analysis and integration into larger Business Unit P&Ls.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to implement harmonized KPI reporting that is timely, insightful, and actionable.
  • Work with Corporate FP&A and Business Finance Support, Operations as required on budgets and forecast consolidation.
Job Requirements


Your experience and resume will show us:

  • 5+ years related work experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Business/Accounting/Finance
  • MBA and/or Professional designation or working towards one (CA, CGA, CMA, CFA)
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SAPBW
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience working with Loyalty Programs
