The Manager, Price Communications Strategy is a key role in our Marketing Centres of Excellence, collaborating across cross-functional disciplines to drive customer and business value through strategic communications of our key offers. The successful candidate will lead omnichannel planning and strategy, looking at a program level and the intersection of traditional and digital media amplification across multiple Empire banners. They will own the ongoing strategic analysis and budget to inform data-driven optimizations and the key processes to operationalize required change management and communication to align with overarching business strategies.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Drive omnichannel planning and program level optimizations, both long-term strategy and as the key point of contact on weekly opportunities
- Oversee distribution strategy and work closely with partners across flyer production, banner marketing, merchandising, operations, business intelligence, media, and finance to develop cost efficient and effective plans
- Develop and deliver key communications across a variety of levels to distill the complex into a compelling and actionable narrative
- Overarching budget management and understanding of key levers

What you have to offer:
- Minimum of 8 years experience, ideally at a national level with retail, industry, or flyer experience
- Understanding of omnichannel customer journeys and evaluating outcome-focused audience-first plans
- Strategic thinker who can balance both long- and short-term roadmaps and required change management
- Analytical with ability to establish priorities and build & evaluate data-driven scenarios
- Collaborative with established success and passion for connecting cross-functional teams, building relationships, and influencing outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with expertise building presentations and comfort delivering to large and small groups across many levels
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets across all channels
- Ability to navigate ambiguity
