We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to develop and execute strategic marketing programs. You will assist with the creation and execution of marketing briefs, ensuring alignment across various communication channels and driving consistency in messaging. Your expertise in project management and cross-functional collaboration will be essential in supporting seasonal campaigns, promotions, and ongoing marketing initiatives.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to develop marketing programs, including strategy development and tactical execution.
- Assist with the creation and execution of creative marketing briefs to support banner initiatives, category marketing requests, and ad hoc projects.
- Oversee project-specific planning sessions for campaigns.
- Support the Marketing Team with seasonal planning and take ownership of specific project overviews.
- Drive alignment across communication channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and adapting strategies to meet evolving market demands.
- Develop and manage promotional and marketing project work streams, including project management, follow-ups, and creative proof approvals.
- Establish strong relationships and maintain effective communication with store owners. Handle store requests and direct inquiries to the appropriate channel owners.
- Lead meetings, capture key takeaways, and distribute detailed meeting minutes to stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Ensure marketing materials consistently meet established standards and guidelines, offering expert reviews and recommendations to improve alignment with banner strategy.
- Manage and optimize the distribution of weekly digital assets to ensure alignment with strategic goals and best practices.
- Work closely with Customer Insights and external partners to conduct pre- and post-campaign reporting and analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations.
- Assist the Marketing Manager and Director with budget reconciliation, tracking budget allocation for campaigns.
- Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies for seasonal events, holidays, and key occasions that align with the annual banner plan.
- Partner with cross-functional marketing, creative, and external agency teams on omnichannel content strategy and planning, aligning with key marketing strategies for always-on social, web content, and brand campaigns.
- Lead the development of Local Store Marketing (LSM) plans and act as the primary contact for ad hoc requests, including strategic development, coordination with internal/external partners, plan execution, and post-campaign reporting.
What you have to offer:
- A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience within the industry is preferred.
- A diploma or undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Proven track record of managing projects across multiple areas of the business.
- Experience leading diverse projects and working with teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding strategic business projects and initiatives.
