We are currently looking for a dynamic Manager of Training – Supply Chain Operations (RSC - Retail Support Centre) to join our family in our Mississauga or Vaughan Offices.

Some of the exciting things you will lead and do:

  • Develop the Supply Chain functional and technical training curriculum utilizing existing infrastructure, tools (technology) and templates to deliver required learning outcomes:
  • Oversee and contribute to the Development of technical and functional training programs and content for Supply Chain
  • Determine training content in conjunction with functional Subject Matter Experts for Operations (e.g. SOPs, compliance programs, safety, OHS, RSC & Transport processes and tools) 
  • Partner with Learning & Development to create learning content that is both engaging and effective.
  • Develop appropriate Train the Trainer materials along with deployment and sustainability plans
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development on best practices on training delivery.
  • Drive training through delegated RSC/Transport training representatives to ensure they are well-equipped to deliver content effectively
  •  (E.g. E-learning models, technical training guides, classroom training   programs, 1:1 coaching guides, video demos, peer mentoring guides, etc.)
  • Establish methods to ensure future hires receive up-to-date curriculum.
  • Responsible for technical components of Supply Chain Leadership Program 
  • Identify and develop training in core areas of Supply Chain responsibility 
  • Oversee and coordinate the completion of rotational assignments and achievement of functional learning outcomes and certification requirements
  • Works with Human Resources to coordinate intake of leadership candidates as well as deployment of leadership training curriculum required to complete RSC (Supply Chain) Leadership program
  • Continually assess/ manage quality and efficacy of training and update as required
  • Collect feedback to assess quality of functional training curriculum, delivery model (e.g., 1:1, e-learning etc.) and trainers and address opportunities for improvement
  • Identify target outcomes and improvements in KPIs following training
  • Utilize LMS to monitor training completion and success rates and to inform Operations Leadership on opportunities to improve overall execution
  • Manage uploading and maintenance of LMS modules. Uses LMS to track and certify processes associated with RSC/Transport curriculum deployment
  • Utilize LMS to manage and update training modules; including deleting old content, uploading new modules, and maintaining existing training in the system
  • Share completion reports with supervisors/managers/leaders to ensure employees are completing required training. 
  • Partner with Integrated Supply Chain Leads and Operations Leaders to prioritize curriculum development and identify harmonization opportunities
  • Work with Operations leads to maximize training investments
  • Collaborate with Facility Leads/Transportation Managers to solicit input on opportunities to improve utilization of the LMS and specific training programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure Logistics training is developed and deployed in a consistent manner (e.g. IHM, Food Safety, Loss Prevention, etc.)



Your resume should clearly showcase:

  • A College or Undergraduate Degree in Business, Education, Supply Chain or related field and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience as Team Lead and Manager
  • Previous experience in delivering training or content development
  • Ability to understand and anticipate business needs 
  • Ability to adapt teaching and training materials, methods and concepts to different audiences
  • Strong facilitation and communication (oral &written) skills
  • Experience in designing multimedia curriculum development and modules for on-line and face-to-face learning environments
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain role in retail, warehouse/transportation/inventory management is required 
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
  • 10 – 20% travel across Canada
