We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Manager Tech Solutions – Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

 

As an Manager Tech Solutions Salesforce/Data Marketing with Sobeys, you will:

 

  • Work with Business Partners to lead the development and ongoing refinement of the overall Product Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Own, lead and deliver a multi year technology roadmap that aligns with our overall enterprise and business vision, goals and objectives.
  • Manage a dynamic team supporting career development, performance evaluation and people management.
  • Work with the Centre of Excellence team to ensure compliance to the organizational quality standards for new or enhanced products or services throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Own and ensure the backlog management is always current, accurately prioritized and categorized.
  • Be accountable for Vendor relationship management, including managing and maintaining all vendor contracts. 
  • Be accountable for the System Integrators helping with Marketing related projects or providing support for Marketing products. 
  • Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that support business processes and enhance user experience.
  • Lead the implementation of new Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring successful deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage Salesforce configuration, customization, and data migration efforts to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all related systems.
  • Own the Salesforce user experience by working with stakeholders to define requirements, address feedback, and drive user adoption.
  • Ensure Salesforce best practices are followed, including security protocols, data management standards, and system performance optimization.
  • Monitor and report on Salesforce system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking proactive steps to address issues.
  • Lead training initiatives for Salesforce end-users, ensuring effective use of the platform across various teams.
  • Work closely with the Salesforce vendor and system integrators to manage platform upgrades, integrations, and third-party applications.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, related degree, or relevant experience in Technology. 
  • Proven success with managing large scale transformational level programs. 
  • Strong understanding of a product life cycle. 
  • Able to motivate team members and know how to efficiently make important decisions. 
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience in retail and Marketing systems preferred
