The Manager, Media is a critical role in our Marketing Communications department, leading a passionate team and collaborating across cross-functional disciplines to build holistic campaigns and drive customer and business value. The successful candidate will lead strategic planning and ideation across our banner media investments and social media channels, with a focus on increasing brand affinity and consideration, driving traffic and sales, and building deep customer connections. 

Job Description

  • Lead the strategy, planning and delivery of all integrated campaign media investments across the business, including brand and enterprise-wide initiatives like sponsorship and community investment
  • Own always-on social channels and amplification strategy, using a deep understanding of platforms and audiences to drive key results
  • Manage key agency partner relationships and champion innovation, process opportunities, and optimizations  
  • Support a team of media specialists, fostering growth and development
  • Collaborate across functions including brand strategy, customer insights, digital experience, strategic sourcing, content studio, finance, communications, and external partners 
  • Drive media effectiveness, using reporting and analytics to build stories grounded in insights that impact our investments, shared understanding of performance, and continuous improvement 
  • Drive cross-functional socialization and understanding of platforms and planning best practices and principles 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years integrated campaign experience, ideally at a national level with industry or agency experience.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets across all channels 
  • Comfort with all traditional and digital media tactics and evaluating outcome-focused audience-first plans
  • Analytical with ability to establish priorities and distill key communications 
  • Collaborative with established success and passion for connecting cross-functional teams, building relationships, and influencing outcomes  
  • Excellent communication skills with comfort presenting to large and small groups across many levels
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Commitment to coaching and development
