Job Description

  • Develop and execute the overall national engagement plan for supplier products  via Empire loyalty (mass or direct to customer Direct to C ustomer) channels across all banners and formats
  • Co-develop the annual supplier engagement plan with Merchandising  teams and Director, Loyalty Marketing
  • Set supplier funding targets in collaboration with Merchandising teams and Director, Loyalty Marketing
  • Engage Merchandising and join supplier negotiations  as needed to facilitate supplier-driven campaign development and define value and benefits of Loyalty program 
  • Work with Merchandising, Suppliers, Merchandising Services, Customer Insights /Business Intelligence optimize the supplier management processes and reporting views as required on an ongoing basis
  • Help Merchandising to identify opportunities and optimize supplier funding across categories and campaigns
  • Leverage reporting and insights to provide Merchandising & Suppliers with visibility into supplier-funded campaign performance via the Loyalty Promo, Supplier Reporting, Integrated Promo 

Job Requirements

  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to sell ideas internally throughout the organization as well as externally with third parties
  • Proven track record of collaborative leadership
  • Proven track record of managing diverse projects and working teams to reach goals and timelines
  • Curious, creative, passion for food and solution oriented
