Overview

Job Description

  • Responsible for implementing local store marketing campaigns across all Community Banners (Foodland Atlantic, Foodland Ontario, IGA West, and Thrifty Foods)
  • Develop requirements for local marketing campaigns, including writing strategic briefs
  • Lead development and ensure delivery  of communication (in partnership with Operations) of local store marketing initiatives to Foodland Atlantic, Foodland Ontario, IGA West, and Thrifty Foods
  • Lead development of analysis of local initiatives with customer insights team
  • Responsible for activation local events in the Atlantic and local store marketing including social media
  •  

Key Support Accountabilities:

  • Work with Operations & Merchandising Teams to understand ‘go to market’ strategies for Community Banners (Foodland Atlantic, Foodland Ontario, IGA West, and Thrifty Foods)
  • Work with Business Insights, Consumer Insights, Operations & Merchandising teams to identify Local Market opportunities where sales & traffic stimulus is required
  • Work with Integrated Marketing Team to Store Marketing team and Operations to deliver marketing plan for local store marketing initiatives
  • Work with Integrated Marketing and Marketing services team to ensure delivery and communication of marketing elements to region including Show and Sell participation
  • Work with Customer Insights to analyze campaign performance
  • Brand lead for the Foodland Ontario Food Truck, working with the sponsorship team, integrated marketing team, and external agency partners
  • Manage & optimize local store marketing budget

 

Job Requirements

  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of project management, managing multiple stakeholder groups, developing marketing plans
