The Manager, Credit Card Acquisitions will be responsible for managing all aspects of credit card acquisition through Empire’s retail and digital channels.  Reporting to the Director of Partner Management, this role will have broad exposure to various internal teams and external partners.  The successful candidate should have strategic and analytical acumen, strong relationship building skills and be able to work with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and build strategies that support credit card acquisition targets.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on development of acquisition strategy across Empire’s retail and digital channels 
  • Develop card marketing campaign calendar in coordination with Partner to drive acquisition and engagement through Empire channels
  • Oversee design of card acquisition process through in-store intercepts, digital channels, etc.
  • Coordinate credit card acquisition execution through in-store intercepts and digital channels with partner resources and internal teams, incl. Merch, Brand, Loyalty Mktg, CRM, MarComm, Store Ops, Store Mktg 
  • Share reporting on credit card program commitments, develop card acquisition forecasts 
  • Continue to enhance the acquisition experience for customers and stores
  • Track & share reporting on card acquisition, customer engagement and program performance 
  • Support partner marketing, communications and customer engagement efforts

Job Requirements

  • ​​​​​​​Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience within payments, credit card, financial services or loyalty businesses
  • Experience in co-brand credit card marketing, acquisition marketing considered an asset
  • Partner Management considered an asset
