Overview

Job Description

 

Program Design 
•    Support the design of customer program experiences across our digital and physical properties, including all banners, brands and marketing assets (e.g. loyalty) 
•    Contribute to national consumer research to test and refine the customer program design and roll-out strategy and to inform the customer program strategy 
•    Detail the customer engagement plan to ensure adoption of the program strategy, in collaboration with external parties 
•    Continually monitor loyalty offering & program performance vs industry leaders
•    Oversee core program elements and identify opportunities for improvement
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to build engagement and detail the plan for the strategy roll-out 
•    Interface with Finance to revise business case assumptions 

 

 Feature Development and Execution
•    Evaluate partnership opportunities to support a feature development roadmap and coordinate with other stakeholders to identify new ideas to enhance the program.
•    Determine build, partner, buy opportunities for new products and services and coordinate with Finance to develop business case & secure funding for new products
•    Support development of data monetization strategy; coordinate with Innovation & Strategy to assess priority opportunities
•    Build a detailed roll-out plan including internal, mass and personalized marketing and communications / public relations as required
•    This role needs to have an innovative mindset and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of people to deliver first to market strategies that will transform how we build relationships with our customers  
•    Strong orientation for customer digital marketing & loyalty
•    Ability to build and support business case development
•    Possess strong instincts for local consumer, competitor and new market trends
•    This role will collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, IT, Store ops and internal teams to help develop and execute loyalty program strategies
•    Will work closely with external strategic partners (customer research, loyalty advertising/media agencies, etc.) to define customer value and experiences  

Job Requirements

 

•    An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in loyalty, digital marketing, product management, customer research
•    Retail and/or grocery experience is good to have
•    Proven track record of collaborative leadership across cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders incl. operators, marketers and IT 
•    Proven track record of managing diverse projects and working teams to reach goals and timelines
•    Experience working in large organizations on complex data and technology initiatives
