We currently have an opportunity for a Loyalty Strategy Specialist to join the Sobeys Family on a permanent basis.
This role will work closely with various business units within Sobeys to design, create and measure strong customer focussed loyalty strategies for our various banners. Experience in customer research, building engagement and retention strategies and project management will be key in creating positive customer experiences in our channels. In this role you will:

Program Design 
•    Support the design of customer program experiences across our digital and physical properties, including all banners, brands and marketing assets (e.g. loyalty) 
•    Contribute to national consumer research to test and refine the customer program design and roll-out strategy and to inform the customer program strategy 
•    Detail the customer engagement plan to ensure adoption of the program strategy, in collaboration with external parties 
•    Continually monitor loyalty offering & program performance vs industry leaders
•    Oversee core program elements and identify opportunities for improvement
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to build engagement and detail the plan for the strategy roll-out 
•    Interface with Finance to revise business case assumptions 

 Feature Development and Execution
•    Evaluate partnership opportunities to support a feature development roadmap and coordinate with other stakeholders to identify new ideas to enhance the program.
•    Determine build, partner, buy opportunities for new products and services and coordinate with Finance to develop business case & secure funding for new products
•    Support development of data monetization strategy; coordinate with Innovation & Strategy to assess priority opportunities
•    Build a detailed roll-out plan including internal, mass and personalized marketing and communications / public relations as required
•    This role needs to have an innovative mindset and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of people to deliver first to market strategies that will transform how we build relationships with our customers  
•    Strong orientation for customer digital marketing & loyalty
•    Ability to build and support business case development
•    Possess strong instincts for local consumer, competitor and new market trends
•    This role will collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, IT, Store ops and internal teams to help develop and execute loyalty program strategies
•    Will work closely with external strategic partners (customer research, loyalty advertising/media agencies, etc.) to define customer value and experiences  



Your Resume should clearly showcase

•    An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 6 years  professional experience with a minimum of 2-3 years focused on loyalty, digital marketing, product management, customer research
•    Retail and/or grocery experience is good to have
•    Proven track record of collaborative leadership across cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders incl. operators, marketers and IT 
•    Proven track record of managing diverse projects and working teams to reach goals and timelines
•    Experience working in large organizations on complex data and technology initiatives
