Overview

 

The Manager, Loyalty Marketing will be responsible for developing strategies and tactical plans to acquire new customers, increase engagement, reduce churn, and drive top-line sales growth.  Reporting to the Director of Loyalty Marketing, this role will have broad exposure to various internal teams and external partners.  The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of engagement and retention marketing, deep experience in customer segmentation, able to thrive with data-driven analytical challenges, and exposure to modern marketing technology solutions and platforms.

Job Description

 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on the development of loyalty marketing strategies across Empire’s retail and digital channels
  • Develop marketing campaign calendar in coordination to drive acquisition and engagement through Empire channels
  • Work with the Customer Insights team to define target groups and determine KPI’s and measurement plans
  • Establish and monitor the budget; keep Finance partner informed of any variances to plan as we move through plan development, deployment and optimization
  • Work with Store Operations to ensure store readiness and training of loyalty marketing programs
  • Brief the IMC team for development of tactical loyalty plans

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience within loyalty marketing
  • Experience in Financial Services marketing, and grocery or retail marketing considered an asset
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to sell ideas internally throughout the organization as well as externally with third parties
  • Proven track record of collaborative leadership
  • Proven track record of managing diverse projects and working teams to reach goals and timelines
  • Curious, creative, passion for food and solution oriented
