Serve as the L&D CoE lead point of contact and learning partner for different Sobeys Business Functions.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with leaders, subject matter experts and with HR colleagues and L&D colleagues who support that business
  • Establish function specific learning roadmaps, including identifying and prioritizing the closing of critical skill and capability gaps
  • Forecast requirements for and secure the needed resources to deliver on the function specific learning plan and roadmap
  • Be a champion for, and advise Business Function stakeholders on skill and capability development opportunities within their teams
  • Establish learning strategies and ensure timely and quality delivery of L&D solutions 
  • Work with the Business Function team to develop and track key metrics and provide insights that can be used for decision making
  • Manage communications with the Business Function team to ensure that they are appropriately informed and consulted on L&D matters that impact them
  • Assigned business function and assign HR business partner: contribute to the overall talent plans for the assigned business function, leading the input into the assessment and development of critical skills and capabilities

What you have to offer:

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma required
  • 3 years experience in a consulting or relationship/account management role, advising clients/partners on skill and capability development requirements
  • 5+ years experience working in a projects delivery environment, preferably within the fields of learning and development, talent development, organization design, or related
  • Experience managing/leading teams or project teams
  • CHRP, CTDP or equivalent certification a nice to have
