Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We are currently looking for a Financial Analysts, Supplier Revenue to join our Finance Business Support department based out of our office in Stellarton, NS.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Analyze, monitor, control and account for various sections of supplier revenue.
- Validate supplier revenue agreements negotiated by the Merchandising & Sourcing teams and follow up on their creation in the system.
- Prepare various analysis and follow-up reports.
- Responsible for carrying out various end-of-period revenue searches based on discrepancies raised.
- Ensure that manual income agreements are reconciled and properly invoiced.
- Contribute to the preparation of new analytical reports to support the various needs of the Merchandising, Sourcing and Finance teams.
- Contribute to the annual budget process and periodic forecasts for Supplier Revenues.
- Work in collaboration with the Cost and Promotions team.
- Work closely with finance teams to explain periodic variations in Supplier Revenues by Business Unit.

What you have to offer:
- Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline and no experience or a College Diploma and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Bilingual (French-English) is an asset as you will have to work with their peers from other provinces in the development, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, and also offer support for Sobeys employees across Canada.
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a deadline-driven environment..
- Developing and using cooperative relationships.
- Autonomous, organized and a team player.
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel and Access).
