Overview

Job Description

The Finance Analyst – Corporate FP&A is responsible for supporting the accurate, comprehensive and timely preparation of consolidated reporting and analysis for our Corporate FP&A function. Key deliverables include daily sales and KPI reporting, weekly performance reporting, period and quarterly close reporting, as well as supporting Corporate Forecasting and Budgeting teams as required.

•Support preparation of standardized corporate reporting and analysis for Empire including weekly performance reporting, period end close and reporting, and quarter end results.

•Support the timely and in-depth financial, variance, and trending analyses at an Empire consolidated level; leverage analytics and technology to interpret results and articulate recommendations to the Corporate FP&A team.

•Develop and manage various reports using multiple software platforms including but not limited to SAP, Longview, BI, BMR, and BW on a weekly/monthly basis.

•Responsible for daily sales reporting accuracy and validation, as well as, managing Sales Reports Mailbox.

•Provide excellent level of customer service to all levels of the business. Communicate effectively with applicable stakeholders

•Provide financial analysis and business decision support to the Finance Manager.

•Apply business and financial expertise to resolve moderately complex functional issues.

•Assist in forecasting, targeting, and budgeting processes as required.

Job Requirements

•An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of one to two years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance or related field
•Enrolled in a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent experience (preferred)
