We currently have an opportunity for a Director Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Delivery reporting to the VP, EPMO. The primary responsibilities of this role is to manage the process methods, practices and governance, required to plan, manage and execute strategic initiative portfolio with excellence. In addition, the EPMO Delivery Director is acting as a business partner to functions or lines or business, supporting prioritization process, building and maintaining 3-year roadmap. Developing high performance talent is at the center of the EPMO Delivery Director role.

This is a highly visible role supporting all levels of stakeholders across the business.

Job Description

What you’ll get to do in this fast-paced role:

•    Ensure adherence to project management, change management, and risk management standards across the entire program/project life cycle to include project management practices, tools and documentation of project artifacts
•    Promote positive relationships and clear communication on all projects between key business sponsors and stakeholders; represent EPMO on steering committees as needed
•    Build a “learning community” of practice within the project delivery discipline in establishing a program of continuous improvement through assessment of internal and external best practices and lessons learned to achieve higher maturity in program and project management across the organization
•    Ensure efficient and effective financial management processes are in place including reporting and control mechanisms sufficient to ensure appropriate stewardship of resources
•    Collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders in the business to prioritize projects based on company objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced business environmen
•    Ensure allocation of Project Managers and Project Leadership Team are aligned to the strategic portfolio
•    Responsible to develop high performance talented Project Managers by working with the EPMO leadership and HR team on the development and implementation of a robust talent management process.
•    Provide the organization and direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills
•    Provide regular visibility to project status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics) on a standard cadence through status reporting and project/resource reviews
•    Manage and deliver various internal initiatives and special assignments as assigned by the VP, Enterprise Project Management Office

Job Requirements

What your resume will include and demonstrate to us:
•    Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a Project Management Office leader, budget management and dashboard reporting; proven record of innovative thinking, and delivering projects with excellence
•    Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a project manager - managing complex multi-faceted cross functional programs, working grocery retail, merchandising, store operations, IT technologies, managing global projects and continuously driving and delivering initiatives.
•    Tenacious and willing to support the team during peak volumes and workloads with various activities.
•    Demonstrated experience creating and institutionalizing an Enterprise PMO function for an organization; a passion for Continuous Improvement
•    Strong in process management and controls to minimize risks exposure
•    Interest and passion for people development
•    Experience in budget management and reforecasting to support annual planning and lead monthly reforecasting for project budgets
•    Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, tools across agile, waterfall, iterative methods associated tools
•    Strong Proficiency in MS Office specifically MS Excel
•    Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decision-making skills with proven abilities in problem solving
•    Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills for the development of strategy, guidelines, policies, standards, and best practices
•    Knowledge of large ERP systems (i.e. SAP) is preferred
•    University undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent
•    PMP (required) or PgMP (nice to have) designation
•    MBA (nice to have) 
•    Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
