Sobeys MarTech & Digital COE team is hiring for a Manager- Digital Content, Tagging and Strategy who will be responsible for driving the enterprise SEO & Digital Content strategy, Purposeful Tagging and collaborating with analytics teams in setting up measurement methodologies rooted in performance. 
 

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • In depth business and technical strategy and management of digital content, tagging, and search engine optimization for Empire digital customer channels, including but not limited to, B2C and B2B websites, mobile apps, app stores, store listings, and direct-to-customer communications. 
  • Regular review and optimization of analytics and search engine tracking to ensure sources are being recorded correctly in each view and amending filters and classifications to maintain data integrity; identify and manage updates.
  • Manage partner relationships and act as digital content, tagging, and search engine optimization subject matter expert for digital channels.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and data privacy changes and driving this expertise and best-practice across teams.
  • Create and lead a diverse team of specialists in line with Empire DE&I guidelines, creating a culture of inclusivity and foster open communication, helping the team develop content that drives customer behaviour, and deliver high performance.
     

What you have to offer:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in marketing, data or analytics with a primary focus on digital 
  • A post-secondary degree in data science, marketing analytics, commerce, or related field
  • Knowledge and experience in HTML/CSS, Javascript, DataLayer and Website Analytics 
  • Solid understanding of content and performance marketing and conversion.
  • A proactive and collaborative individual who is curious, analytical, and devoted to the customer. 
  • Experience using Google tools to an advanced level
