Job Description

 

 

As the Agile Delivery Lead you will:


Delivery Methodology.


Define and maintain the delivery methodologies and provide subject matter expertise on complex delivery challenges. Promote usage of relevant delivery approaches, for a range of large complex programs to simple rapid delivery projects, by contributing expertise to develop Agile / DevOps / product management / resources such as knowledge transfer through coaching, skills, tools and techniques (e.g., Kanban, enterprise Agile project management solution, etc.).
 

Product Management Methodology


Develop and maintain policies, standards and tools to support end-to-end product lifecycle management.
 

Operational Efficiency


Be responsible to bring in industry leading practice methodologies and innovation ideas for Sobeys. Control and improve timeliness, quality and cost of IT service delivery. Resolve any obstacles identified to ensure operational efficiency and speed of delivery. Interface with other IT leaders to drive collaboration amongst them to plan, prioritize and efficiently deliver and deploy appropriate new solutions specific to their teams. 
 

Continuous Improvement 


Delivery team is responsible for creating continuous feedback loops and have a lesson-learned methodology and toolset to ensure teams are utilizing the best delivery tools and processes. Also ensure standardization and repeatability.
 

Resource Management

 

  • Monitor and manage capacity and resourcing of the Delivery and Integration COE to meet the current and future business and IT Product Team demand.
  • Support the Product Teams with communication materials, training, and support of product/project delivery methodologies.
  • Oversee the communication and adoption of best in class Delivery Methodologies supporting both large scale complex programs
  • Partner with ePMO to ensure consistent enterprise program and project management methodology is being followed by Product Teams.
  • Work closely with the Product Teams to ensure teams have the delivery methodologies to support day-to-day delivery and sustainment activities.
  • Collaborate with IT Business Office - Assets, Knowledge and Performance Management Team to ensure the right training and awareness is in place for delivery processes.
  • Work closely with all the CoE’s to create appropriate community of practices.

Job Requirements

 

 

Your resume will show us:

  • Computer Science or Business Administration background preferred
  • Experience in a leadership role leading service delivery teams (with expertise in Agile / DevOps methodology)
  • Experience delivering quality outcomes or deliverables within agreed scope including excellent knowledge of budgeting and financial management
  • Experience in working with outsourced service providers and vendor management
  • Solid technical expertise in the relevant applications / technologies
