Overview

The Brand Marketing Coordinator – Discount is a brand steward for the Discount banner brands: understanding and supporting brand standards, acting like a brand champion through marketing activations, and supports our stores by being the key point of contact for our network of franchisees.

Job Description

•    Develop, brief in, proof and deploy weekly digital assets in a timely manner
•    Support with planning, execution and maintenance of store programs, in collaboration with Merchandising and Operations
•    Main point of contact for Franchisees, managing Store Owner inbox, supporting, responding to or fielding questions in a timely and friendly manner
•    Assist with Store Operation requirements, such as store owner changes, third party support and other areas as needed
•    Develop and optimize relevant marketing materials as required, ensuring established standards and guidelines are met
•    Support with planning and execution of digital and social media content, providing input and feedback
•    Maintain accurate and relevant information on owned assets 
•    Gatekeeper of all coupon related activity 
•    Upkeep of 52- week marketing calendar, ecosystem and other relevant documents, working closely with Merchandising 
•    Assist Brand Strategy & Planning team with strategy development and implementation 
•    Participate in project specific planning sessions related to campaign development
•    Review all staging links and proof assets against the copy deck and/or flyer and final creative before it goes live
•    Coordinate materials and asset delivery to internal/external agencies
•    Coordinate internal/external meetings as required
•    Coordinate all administrative duties as required
•    Assist with monthly budget tracking and invoicing
 

Job Requirements

•    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
•    Meticulous attention to detail
•    Highly organized
•    Ability to adapt communication styles based on audience
•    Ability to manage multiple on-going tasks and prioritize, with guidance in a fast paced retail environment
•    Ability to read and interpret marketing and research data (Customer Insights reports, Business Intelligence reports, etc.)
•    Retail marketing/operations knowledge or experience, a plus
•    Proficiency in Microsoft office suite / Office 365
•    Bilingual English + French or Hindi or Punjabi or Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
•    Adaptable, flexible and eager to learn and grow
