Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Develop automated, scalable reporting and analytical strategy and solutions for Empire digital customer channels, including but not limited to, B2C and B2B websites, mobile apps, and direct-to-customer communications. 
  • Support omni-channel analytics through delivery of digital channel insights, reporting and measurement in line with Enterprise strategy and Digital Experience evolution. 
  • Manage partner relationships and act as data and analytics subject matter expert for the Digital Channels.
  • Requires the combination of business and technology acumen to generate value add insights and maintain reporting in various forms (ad-hoc analyses, data visualization, self-serve BI).
  • Create and lead a diverse team of specialists in line with Empire DE&I guidelines, creating a culture of inclusivity and foster open communication, helping the team solve complex business problems, set goals and deliver high performance.
  • CMO Organization: Work closely with the Customer Analytics, Consumer Insights, and Media teams to gather campaign and channel reporting requirements, align on key performance indicators, identify tagging requirements, and develop required reports and dashboards. 
  • CTAO: Work across Product, Advanced Analytics and Data teams to define data and reporting tool requirements, prioritizing updates and enhancements, and ensuring new functionalities/features are rolled out to support business growth.

What you have to offer:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in marketing, data or analytics with a primary focus on digital 
  • A post-secondary degree in data science, marketing analytics, commerce, or related field
  • A deeply curious and critical thinker that is motivated by unanswered questions and the drive to solve them through creative and transparent methods
  • Strong attention to detail, being able to deal with ambiguity and an analytical mindset
  • Self-starter that identifies opportunities where data & analytics help to solve real business problems 
  • Proficient in data retrieval, structuring and visualization to amalgamate disparate data sets into a cohesive view
  • Analytical thinking, data interpretation, project management, and a user centric approach
  • Knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics, Big Query, MS Excel, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, Tableau and Datorama
  • Comfortable interacting with senior leaders to present reports and interpreting analytics
