We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist who will support our teams in the development and execution of strategies by providing vendor data and insights. You will also be involved in stakeholder communications and maintaining relationships with vendors.

What you’ll get to do in this fast-paced role:


Business Intelligence Execution

  • Produce accurate reports and complete analysis to put forward suggestions to improve financial results, processes, and business improvements
  • Provide analytics for forward looking vendor metrics and provide insight to support and/or recommend a revised perspective on the various levers within Category Management 
  • Provide expertise and practical assistance in the ad hoc investigation, evaluation, and interpretation of data, themes and trends
  • Contribute to sales and profitability of assigned categories through analysis and performance data of key vendors
  • Analyze business and market trends to recommend new strategies for increased vendor performance 
  • Coordinate regular meetings with Category Managers in order to provide presentation level views of performance and strategy



  • Collect and manage data ensuring data integrity for consumer, supplier, market, retail and geographic information for category management initiatives
  • Create reporting to track innovation and private label to maximize category performance
  • Create reports that highlight inventory concerns and suggest corrective actions for close dated products and overstocks
  • Create complex models that assist in category performance analysis based on innovative views of data
  • Understand multifaceted approaches and statistical methodologies that will assist in category performance analysis

What you should bring to the team:


  • Undergraduate degree and at least 5 years experience in analytic roles 
  • Experience in retail or CPG environment
  • Advanced communication and consulting capabilities, generated through many years of analyst and business experiences
  • Hands-on expertise in Tableau, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to do complex modeling in Excel and design and execute complex SAS queries
  • Strong understanding of SQL and SAP
  • Advanced ability to integrate multiple data sources and identify the ‘so what’ associated with this effort for stakeholders
