We are looking for an Business Analyst, Product to act as the detail driven partner who converts ideas and data into clear requirements, robust business cases, and smooth product delivery. You will work across product, go to market, data, and vendor teams to keep projects on track and ensure every roadmap decision is backed by evidence.

This position will be based in our office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive base salary plus commission, along with a comprehensive benefits package. We will also provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates interested in making Nova Scotia their new home.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Requirement gathering and documentation
  • Plan and run workshops with advertisers, sales, operations, data insights, and Engineering to capture functional and non-functional needs
  • Convert findings into workflows, system and process flows, UAT planning
  • Roadmap creation support - Partner with the PM to translate strategy into a sequenced roadmap
  • Maintain roadmap visuals, dependency maps, and quarterly OKRs alignment docs
  • Business case evaluation
  • Size market, revenue, ROI and cost for new features for leadership reviews
  • Prioritisation frameworks
  • Lead RICE scoring sessions that balance revenue impact, effort, and risk
  • Keep the backlog groomed and transparent for stakeholders
  • System and data mapping
  • Create and maintain current-state and future-state diagrams showing data flows from various product channels to ad server, reporting, and billing systems
  • Highlight gaps, privacy checkpoints, and latency risks
  • Vendor evaluation and documentation
  • Build scorecards, run RFP comparisons, and capture technical and commercial findings for tools such as SSPs, screen networks, and clean rooms
  • Track contract obligations, SLAs, and renewal timelines
  • Project management on select initiatives
  • Own project plans, sprint boards, and risk logs for smaller builds or integrations
  • Product operations support
  • Standardise release checklists, intake forms, and launch playbooks used by PMs and GTM teams
  • Monitor post-launch health metrics, collect feedback, and feed insights back into the roadmap
  • Measurement and testing
  • Work with Measurement team for enhanced tracking for various ad products
  • Stakeholder and compliance alignment
  • Maintain Confluence libraries, decision logs, and privacy compliance artefacts
  • Present concise updates to marketing leadership and cross functional forums

What you have to offer:

  • • Minimum 3+ years as Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Product Operations in digital media, e-commerce, or retail tech
    • Demonstrated skill writing user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria, and managing JIRA backlogs
    • Experience building business cases and leading RICE or similar prioritisation exercises
    • Solid grasp of A/B testing principles and basic statistics for analysing lift and incrementality
    • Confident facilitator who can run workshops and cross functional sessions in a fast moving environment
    • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and vendors while maintaining clear documentation and status updates
