We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Ontario or Atlantic Office.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

As a member of our team of Administrative Assistants you will work in a highly collaborative environment, developing relationships and partnering with peers and Leaders across the company to deliver goals in a fast-paced environment.


The ideal candidate has five (5) years of administrative assistant experience. You will have strong communication skills and believe in participating in a team culture of high performance and being challenged to be the best. You will have the opportunity to think progressively, continually learn and develop, while working together to deliver our collective results.


• Administrative and business content support to senior management team members
• Working collaboratively with functional team, other management team members and their support staff to obtain and traffic information and documentation
• Support on-boarding employees
• Administrate procurement of goods and services
• Timekeeping tracking
• Support improvements and maintaining office ‘user experience’ guidelines
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, where colleagues in your department are encouraged and recognized for generating and implementing innovative ideas
• Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
• Design and maintain databases
• File and retrieve documents and reference materials
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
• Manage and maintain schedules, appointments and travel arrangements for VP’s Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and events
• Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications for VP’s.
• Liaise with internal staff at all levels
• Interact with external partners
• Coordinate project-based work
• Review operating practices and recommend improvements where necessary
 

What you have to offer:

5+ years experience in Administration Support
• University degree or college diploma or relevant work experience
• Strong computer skills; Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience working in project teams
• Proven time management, organization, prioritization, and multi tasking skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to work independently and to adjust to a variety of tasks on a daily basis
• Aptitude for learning tools and new concepts quickly
• Administration/merchandising experience in the grocery retail sector preferred
