Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Analyst Property Management & Lease Admin. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

 

As an Analyst Property Management & Lease Admin with Sobeys, you will:

 

  • Abstract all legal agreements into the lease management system (Tango).
  • Review and interpret lease documents, amendments, and agreements to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Manage and process monthly Rent Roll ensuring validations of any variance’s month over month.
  • Maintain and audit lease data within Tango, ensuring accuracy, consistency across the county and completeness of all key terms, dates, and financial obligations.
  • Track and manage critical lease dates including expirations, renewals, terminations, allowances and rent escalations.
  • Process and audit CAM charges, taxes, and other lease related expenses.
  • Rebill tenants for CAM Year ends including RAN’s.
  • Manage the contacts within Tango ensuring they are up to date.
  • Manage the AR to ensure collections.
  • Sales reporting and % rent calculations.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to resolve lease discrepancies or disputes
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external landlords regarding lease and property matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices.
  • Liaise with Tax Consultants.

  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a DEC and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
  • Previous lease administration experience with other tenants.
