We are looking for an Ad Product Manager to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for advertising productsand features across our channels, guided by customer insights and business priorities. This role involves designingengaging ad placements and measurement tools, coordinating with channel owners for implementation, andintegrating best practices in retail media. You'll also evaluate and manage relationships with ad tech vendors,ensuring optimal performance and timely procurement.
This position will be based in our office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive base salary pluscommission, along with a comprehensive benefits package. We will also provide relocation assistance for qualifiedcandidates interested in making Nova Scotia their new home.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Omnichannel ad product roadmap - Define and sequence the build across site, app, digital flyer, email, in store digital signage, and partner surfaces. Prioritise by revenue lift, advertiser demand, shopper experience, and technical readiness.
- In store to online bridge - Design products and data flows that link in-store sales to advertiser spend. Work with data, POS, and loyalty teams to enable closed loop attribution and post-campaign retail sales reporting.
- E-commerce ad expansion - Scale current e-commerce ads and prepare a repeatable model to light up new banners for product listing ads, sponsored categories, and shoppable media.
- Supplier funded offers and speed to launch - Reduce cycle time from supplier brief to live campaign. Standardise intake, creative specs, approvals, and trafficking handoffs. Target measurable SLA improvements every quarter.
- Measurement, incrementality, and transparency - Stand up a measurement framework that covers on site, in store, and off site. Support lift tests, match back to Scene Plus loyalty data, and work with analytics team to enable dashboards sellers can take to brands.
- AI and workflow automation - Partner with marketing automation and data science to use AI for audience building, copy and creative variants, trafficking QA, pacing alerts, and auto recommendations that improve ROAS and reduce operating cost.
- Vendor ecosystem leadership - Coordinate and govern multiple technology partners. Run structured evaluations, RFPs, and commercial negotiations that protect margin and speed.
- Governance, privacy, and compliance - Work with legal, privacy, and data stewards to ensure safe use of first party data across targeting and reporting. Align to Canadian privacy rules and retailer data use policies.
- Bilingual customer and advertiser experience- Ensure all ad formats, specifications, policies, and reporting can support English and French for Quebec banners at launch, not as a retrofit.

What you have to offer:
- 6+ years product management with 4 plus years in ad tech or retail media.
- Demonstrated ownership of revenue generating media or advertising products from discovery through scale.
- Strong understanding of digital media formats (search, display, video, email, sponsored product ads) and measurement approaches (sales lift, ROAS, incrementality testing).
- Experience building with or integrating first party data and loyalty programs.
- Hands on vendor selection, commercial negotiation, and SLA management.
- Data driven decision style; comfortable with dashboards, SQL or product analytics tools, experimentation frameworks.
- Excellent communication and influence skills across technical, commercial, legal, and executive stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Ability to operate in build mode with incomplete data, shifting priorities, and phased capability across banners.
