The Transportation Admin contributes to the efficient day to day operation of the Transportation department out of our Retail Support Centre (RSC) by supporting the work of our Manager and supervisors of the operational team. This posting is for a temporary position.

Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to Transportation and RSC management
  • Receiving and responding to incoming calls and emails in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • Processing invoices from various vendors utilized by Transportation and payroll support
  • Data entry ensuring accurate information as well as validation of information in a timely fashion
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Education in business or office administration or equivalent related experience is required
  • Minimum of three to five years experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry
  • Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Highly proficient in use of office equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Accounts payable experience
  • Payroll experience (SAP) and timekeeping (Kronos)
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Proven time management, organization and multi tasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
