Overview

Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Analyst I Merchandising to join our Replenishment team.

Job Description

In this role, you will :

Financial

  • Deliver against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success based on maximization of seasonal service levels, reduction of seasonal overstock, table deliveries accuracy (minimize store returns)
  • Manage Allocation tables
  • Own the end to end allocation table process
  • Executes allocation tables to manage new item distributions, manual forecasts, cycle bookings and seasonal bookings
  • Coordinate the seasonal booking process (ensure timelines are by Category, Replenishment and suppliers) Collaborate with replenishment to track inbound inventory related to allocation tables
  • Provide Seasonal rollup to CM, replenishment and suppliers
  • Analyze situations of under shipments or over shipments stemming from and allocation table and adjust allocation release table based on stock availability, store changes etc.
  • Manage rekeys on short shipments
  • Provide reporting on allocation table response rate and service level
  • Track store deliveries against booked quantities to ensure accuracy and completeness of shipments
  • Track overstock inventory related to allocation tables and collaborate with Store Operations, Replenishment and Category Management to deplete inventory
  • Own and manage customized allocation rule
  • Work with Distribution to provide them with accurate information on upcoming table releases and expected shipments associated with allocation tables
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities for the allocation table management process and create ad hoc reports as necessary

Personal Development

  • Engage and maintain interest in personal growth and/or career development
  • Work closely with Replenishment to manage inbounds for stock related to allocation tables
  • Work with Replenishment, Category Management, Store Operations to maximize service levels for allocation table release and minimize overstock situations
     

Job Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the supply chain and our business Excellent communication skills
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in replenishment or logistics Extensive knowledge of Excel (intermediate)
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Fresh or Grocery experience (as applicable)
